I always have a container of granola on hand at our house. It is delicious by the handfuls, as cereal, or on top your yogurt for a little homemade parfait.
One thing that I love about making your own granola is that you can control the amount of sugar that you put in it. Normally I follow the recipe though and just eat the granola in moderation. Even though this recipe is healthy, granola is still a high calorie food.

How long will fresh granola last?
We always have a container of fresh granola in our cabinet. It is really easy to make and lasts for a long time. I have heard that you can freeze granola too. We have never needed to because we eat it pretty quickly, way before it has the chance to go bad. But, you could easily make a batch and freeze some for later.
I wish that food bloggers could insert smells into their posts. If we could, I would totally share this aroma of homemade granola. It seriously is AMAZING and will be etched into your memory!
